How to Join North Harford Baptist Church
The first step is to tell the pastor that you are considering joining the church. He will make an appointment for the purpose of hearing about your spiritual background, and reviewing the doctrines, covenant, and constitution of the church.
The following are ways you might join:
- By profession of faith and baptism: Upon receiving Jesus as personal Lord and Savior, you tell the church of your faith and desire to be baptized.
- By letter: If you are a member of another Baptist church, you tell the church of your decision to join North Harford Baptist. We will write to your former church asking for your letter of membership.
- By statement of Christian experience: If you have been saved and experienced believer's baptism by immersion, but a request for a letter of membership cannot be made, inform the pastor of your situtation and request membership by statement.
- From another denomination: Share your situation with the pastor, who will explain to you whether you can join by statement or believer's baptism.
Note: our Statement of Faith, Covenant, and Constitution are available upon request. Email secretary.
