Matt Fortunato, Pastor
Bio
Matt is North Harford Baptist Church's sixth pastor since its inception on July 6, 1952. His passion and focus in ministry is that the gospel of Jesus Christ and the authority of Scripture would ground everything we believe, teach, and do, both as a church and as individuals. In addition to serving as our pastor, Matt also serves as an adjunct professor of systematic theology at Faith Theological Seminary of Catonsville. Becky works as a Mother-Baby nurse in Maryland and currently leads the women's ministry at church.
"My favorite things about Harford County are the people, who have received me and my family with warmth, love, and kindness, and the beautiful aesthetic of the rural setting -- both the farmland and the woods. My hobbies are pretty much just reading, playing basketball, and exercising. My family and I are blessed to be here and we are thankful for the opportunity to serve. I pray that God continues to use our church in mighty ways for His own Name and glory."
Education
M.Div, Ph.D - Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia
B. Theology - Harding University
B. Architecture - Philadelphia University (now Thomas Jefferson University)
Anthony Wilson, Associate Pastor of Outreach
Bio
Anthony became the associate pastor of outreach in October of 2023. He desires to proclaim the gospel throughout Jarrettsville and the surrounding areas. One of his favorite things about ministry is to answer someone's tough questions by examining the Word of God with that person. Anthony's experience before coming to NHBC has given him an eye and heart for unchurched people. Kenzi is a stay-at-home mother with a background in counseling.
"Jarrettsville reminds me of the town I grew up in. After spending nearly 15 years traveling the world with the army and as a missionary, I chose to live in this part of the country over anywhere else. I enjoy reading, hiking/camping, and spending time with family. Kenzi and I look forward to getting to know all of you more as we live life to the glory of God with one another."

Jason Manry, Pastoral Apprentice for Young Adults
Bio
Jason is a Harford County native and has been serving on staff at North Harford since April 2023, focusing on discipleship of young adults and leading our congregational singing. His passion for ministry is to help others pursue joy in Christ by being grounded in the gospel, saturated in the Scriptures, and committed to the body life of the church. His wife Patty-Lynn serves in the women's ministry and also helps lead congregational singing.
"It's an incredible blessing to be at North Harford. The body of believers here has loved and served my family so incredibly well over the years, and continues to be a steady source of encouragement and support. My hobbies include reading, playing guitar, drinking absurd amounts of coffee, and trying to keep up with my two energetic kiddos! My family is thankful to be part of a church that loves God, His Word, and one another, and I pray that the Lord would continue to use us for His kingdom purposes here in Harford County."
